Kernel is committed to protecting our users' ("you", "your", "yours") privacy while using Kernel's Services and this Privacy Policy serves to inform users on the information that we collect while users use Kernel Services, how they are collected, to which capacity they will be used, and why they are collected.

In this Privacy Policy, the term "personal information" refers to information collected from users including but not limited to name, email address, and other information that may be used to verify the identity of users. In this Privacy Policy, the term "non-personal information" refers to information collected from users including but not limited to Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses, statistical data regarding user demographics and behavior, that preserves the anonymity of users. Information derived from web traffic including but not limited to number of website visitors, average time of website visit, and website pages visited by users is considered as non-personal information. Publically available business or corporate information or such information provided by users is also considered non-personal information. When you visit the Kernel website, we collect non-personal information including but not limited to the IP address of the device with which you access the website, device information such as identifiers, name, type, and operating system, network information such as location and operator, and browser information such as type, traffic to and from the Kernel website and the pages accessed on the Kernel website.

When you visit the Kernel website or use other Kernel Services, we or our third-party vendors may place cookies or pixel tags on your computer or device in order for the following purposes:

In order to accomplish these actions, your information may be used in the following manner:

  1. Provide specialized support for Kernel users;
  2. Process transactions and send pertaining communications to notify you on the status of your account;
  3. Resolve disputes, collect fees, and address operational problems;
  4. Enforce the legal and compliance use of Kernel Services by Kernel users;

You have the right to access and modify the personal information that you have provided to Kernel. Upon written request, Kernel will provide you with a copy of the personal information and a general account of the utilization of your personal information by Kernel. In certain circumstances, Kernel may be unable to provide you with your personal information that may contain the personal information of another user or information regarding Kernel. During such instances for which Kernel is unable to provide you with certain information, Kernel will issue a written explanation.

Kernel reserves the right to modify the contents of this Privacy Policy at all times. In the event of a modification, Kernel will display a notice on the Kernel website informing all website visitors of the modification. Non-material changes to the Privacy Policy such as clarifications and changes in wording will be effective immediately following the publication of the Privacy Policy, and material changes to the Privacy Policy will be effectively after 30 days of publication. Your use of the Kernel Services serves as your consent to Kernel's Privacy Policy, and your continued use of the Kernel Services following any modifications, non-material or material, serves as consent to the modified terms.
